Pay and Work Rights Helpine Launched
The new pay and rights helpine has been launched to provide advice to vulnerable workers and offer a point of contact for advice on workplace rights. The employment rights in question are: national minimum wage, agricultural minimum wage, working time (48 hour average working week), employment agency standards and gangmaster licensing. Each of these rights were previously taken by five separate Government bodies. The new helpline enables workers to report any issues and seek advice from one point of contact. The helpline telephone number is: 0800 917 2368.
